This afternoon the City of Arvada announced they are now accepting applications for the Resident Rebate Program. The program aims at providing rebates to members of the Arvada community who are in financial need and meet eligibility requirements. If approved, residents can receive up to $85 plus an additional $50 for each dependent.
Residency Requirement
Applicants must have resided in the city limits of Arvada for all or part of 2021. Applicants who resided in the City of Arvada for only part of 2021 can receive a pro-rated rebate.
Current Status Requirement
The applicant must meet one of the following criteria:
- Senior citizen: Age 65 by December 31, 2021; or
- Single: Between the age of 55 and 65 by December 31, 2021 and does not share the household with another adult; or
- Disabled person; or
- Single head of household with dependent children
Maximum Household Income Requirement
The applicant’s total household income from all sources must not exceed the following fiscal year income limits, which are set by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Applicants who meet the criteria are invited to apply for the program. All applications and supporting document must be received by the City of Arvada by 5:00PM on Wednesday August 31st.
