The Wheat Ridge Police Department has closed 38th Avenue between Independence Street and Johnson Street in reference to a hit and run crash. Police advised that there was a crash between a motorcycle and vehicle in the area. The occupant of the motorcycle has serious injuries, and the vehicle fled the scene.
7:03PM: Police have located the vehicle, but the driver and passenger fled on foot.
