Just after 7:50PM, the Wheat Ridge Police Department notified the public that they are responding to a shooting at a residence, in the 4600 block of Otis Street. Police advised the victim reported that two men “burst” into the residence. Upon entering the residence, at least one suspect shot the victim.

The victim, who has only been described as male, suffered a gun shot wound to the leg and police have advised he is expected to survive. At this time there are no further details in reference to the two suspects and police remain on scene. Updated will be posted here, as they become available.
